FAQ
What should I/we wear?
Choose something you are confident and comfortable in! I recommend loose fabric that moves with you and earthy/neutral tones. Select outfits that compliment each other without being too matchy-matchy. We will cover all of this (and more) in my Style Guide. I'm also happy to offer personalized suggestions prior to your session!
Where will our session be held?
Please let me know if you already have a location in mind or are open to suggestions! I offer outdoor, studio, and in-home locations, keeping our session vision/mood in mind.
How are the final photos selected?
I focus on capturing unique angles and expressions throughout our session to ensure your story is being fully told. Those diverse photos will then be added to an online gallery where you have an opportunity to select the images that you feel best represent you in this season of your life.
When and how will I receive the photos?
You will receive a Sneak Peek within 48 hours and your full gallery within two weeks. Once your gallery is ready, you will receive your gallery link via email. You'll then be able to pick your favorites, download your images, and/or order prints. Your gallery will be directly linked to Mpix so you can easily view your personalized product preview.
Note, Special Event galleries will require additional time.
What if I want more pictures than what's included in my package?
I'm ecstatic that you love so many of your pictures! Additional images are available for purchase at $10/image.
Will my photos be posted to your website or social media?
I love sharing images of my wonderful clients so a Model Release is included in my contract, if you're open to it. If you prefer to keep your photos private, let me know and I'll remove that clause from the contact prior to signing.
What if the weather isn't ideal for our session?
In the event of rain, heavy snow, or other weather that interferes with our session, I will offer an alternate date and time. We will remain in communication as our session approaches to ensure both parties are comfortable with keeping the original date/time or rescheduling.
Where can I order prints?
I highly recommend ordering prints through my preferred vendor linked to your gallery, but it isn't required. I always love to help with prints and happy to answer any questions you have!
